About Discovair
Discovair was formed in 2002 by Dean Anderson who offers 32 years of experience in the HVAC industry. He offers experience in Service, Installation, Design Build and the Contracting business. He also holds patents on HVAC products in the US and Canada and is continuously seeking ways to improve the products offered to the HVAC industry.
Discovair employs individuals that are knowledgeable in the industry that are highly trained to provide you with quality HVAC products backed by exceptional customer service.
Meet our Key Staff
Dean Anderson (Owner) – Provides 32 years of experience in the HVAC industry, including Service, Installation, and Design Build Contracting. He is a veteran of the US Air Force where he obtained experience in HVAC engineering and design.
Julie Elston (Controller) – Provides 20+ years in the Accounting and Business Management Industry, including Public Accounting/Auditing. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Accounting and Business Administration from Aquinas College, Grand Rapids, MI. She is pursuing a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Grand Valley State University, Allendale, MI.
John Richards (Professional Engineer) - Provides 20+ years experience in Engineering. He obtained his Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Tech University. He has proven his skills in HVAC design, Hydronic Design, Load Calculations, Operations Cost reduction , and LEED Related Activities just to name a few. He has provided engineering services to several types of businesses including schools, churches and other commercial facilities.
Bruce Boerkoel (Sales Representative) – Offers 26 years in the HVAC/R Industry, encompassing sales, purchasing, warehousing and field experience. He is knowledgeable in a variety of applications including Residential, Industrial Mechanical Contracting, Specialized Wholesales, and Refrigeration.
Fred Kamper (Sales Representative - Western Coast) – Provides 35 years experience in the HVAC industry, including consulting with engineers, owners and design/build contractors in the creative application of equipment designed to meet the specific HVAC needs in commercial and industrial applications. He holds a Bachelors of Arts from Calvin College, Grand Rapids, MI as well as a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering obtained from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI
